They say airports have seen more sincere kisses than wedding halls. While this is true, we cannot deny the fact that people have to endure this scenario especially if it’s for greener pasture. A mom like me should always be ready to take over and should be strong enough to take care of the family while my husband is away for work to a foreign country. We call it sacrifice, we call it bravery and we call it choice. We have to stand by our choice that the distance wouldn’t be a hindrance to pursue every plan and goal for the family. Realistically it is sad but everytime each day passes by, I always think that it’s one day closer to seeing him again.
I give high respect to all the OFWs who make sacrifices for their families. Know that we always pray for you. Stay strong for your family. You are loved and your family is eager to meet you again.
